Marshlight Theatre Company is Holding Auditions for "The Return of Grace" Marshlight Theatre Company will be holding auditions for the play "The Return of Grace", written and directed by Company Artistic Director Ron Kelly Spurles. Auditions will be held by appointment on Tuesday, September 10, and Thursday, September 12 from 6 pm to 9 pm. They will also be held Saturday, September 14, from 10 am to 1 pm, and auditions can also be arranged at other times. To set up an audition, actors should email director@marshlight.ca stating their availability during the audition times. No preparation is necessary. The play will be performed November 8 - 10 and 15 - 17. People of any age and background are encouraged to audition, and all actors will receive an honorarium. "The Return of Grace" tells the real-life story of Grace Hellen Mowat. After exploring the world and developing her painting skills in New York and London, Grace returns to St Andrews following a bout with nervous exhaustion. Will she find her footing again in her small hometown - or will the lore of the big city draw her back to work with the professional artists she so admires? "The Return of Grace" is a gentle comedy-drama that examines how Grace works to find her place in the world in the turn-of-the century St Andrews, New Brunswick.
