MtA Music Guest Recital: Tesla Quartet
A highlight of the Music and War Symposium will take place on Friday, October 25 at 7:30 pm in Brunton Auditorium, when the internationally-acclaimed Tesla Quartet will perform George Crumb’s haunting "Black Angels: Thirteen Images from a Dark Land" for electric string quartet (Vietnam War era) and Steve Reich’s "Different Trains" for quartet and tape (reflecting on World War II). This event is the 15th Annual J.E.A. Crake Concert, generously supported by the Crake Foundation. Admission: $15 adults/$10 seniors and students/$30 families, cash sales at the door.
