MtA Symphonic Band: Band Standards – Part 8

Three great works for band, spanning three eras of band composition, and representing three countries that have produced a wealth of music for the genre. Gustav Holst’s foundational First Suite in E-flat (1909), John Barnes Chance’s magnum opus, the Symphony No. 2 (1972), and Yasuhide Ito’s 1990 masterpiece Gloriosa – Symphonic Poem for Band.
