Mount Allison Chamber Orchestra

A set of well-loved melodies is centred around Grieg’s famous Piano Concerto in A minor, featuring Concerto Competition winner Blake Shepherd. Balancing this is a fascinating pair of early 20th century British works; one a suite by a musician of colour named Samuel Coleridge-Taylor, and the other a tone poem by his teacher Sir Charles Villiers Stanford.
