Sophie Noel / Keith Hallett (Greenslades BBQ)

Kick off September with the first-ever outdoors show at Greenslades! This after-work mid-week BBQ will feature live music by Sophie Noel and Keith Hallett, delicious food, and even croquet. Both the music and the food will be PWYC and as always, the event is BYOB. Sophie Noel (they/them) is a musician and writer living in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia. They cartwheel between indie folk, art rock, and 90s grunge lite, making songs that feel nostalgic and sunlit. Described as “a more accessible Cate le Bon”, Sophie and their band put on a captivating live show. Keith Hallett has developed his own unique style of spooky pre-war blues. For the past 15 years, he’s toured Canada, played with and supported artists like Buddy Guy, Justin Townes Earle, Junior Watson and has performed at internationally acclaimed festivals like Montreal Jazz Festival, Mont Tremblant International Blues Festival, Halifax Jazz Fest, and dozens of others.
