MtA Music: Performance Anxiety Presentation with Dr. Emily Logan

Pianist and music educator Dr. Emily Logan (MtA BMus ’11) gives a lecture-recital on her performance anxiety research, examining the psychological, physiological, and situational factors that contribute to music performance anxiety. Through both scholarly discussion and musical performance, this presentation bridges the gap between research and lived experience. Works by Bach, Chopin, and Morlock will offer a musical lens through which to consider the emotional and technical challenges inherent in public performance.
