James Ehnes’ 50th Birthday Cross-Canada Tour – Sackville Recital – J.E.A. Crake Concert

Internationally acclaimed violinist James Ehnes returns to Brunton Auditorium on his cross-Canada tour in celebration of his 50th birthday. With celebrated pianist Andrew Armstrong, Ehnes will perform works including Brahms’ Sonata No. 3, Bartók’s Rhapsody No. 1, and the world premiere of Carmen Braden’s Imaginal, for violin and piano, commissioned by the Northern Arts and Cultural Centre (lead commissioner), Mount Allison University, and other partners. This concert is presented by the Department of Music at Mount Allison University, with the generous support of the J.E.A. Crake Foundation. Tickets: $40 adults, $35 seniors, $20 students/children.
